Technology & safety

Physics you can
fall asleep on

Every Quentex is built around a graphene PTC film — a heating element that regulates itself by the laws of physics, not by a chip that can fail.

Layer by layer

What's inside

1

Soft fabric surface

Pleasant to touch, easy to live with — no metal, no pipes, no noise.

2

Graphene PTC film

Converts electricity into far-infrared warmth at up to 220 W/m². As it warms, its resistance rises and power drops — self-regulation with no electronics to fail.

3

Thermal insulation

Directs the warmth up towards you instead of losing it into the floor or wall.

4

Non-slip base

Keeps the rug flat and steady on wooden or tiled floors. Works with any plug-in thermostat if you want one.

Certified

Tested in accredited laboratories

Quentex heating systems hold CE certification: electrical safety (LVD, EN 60335 family), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC, EN 55014) and hazardous-substance limits (RoHS).

LVD · EN 60335

Household appliance electrical safety — insulation, leakage, temperature limits.

EMC · EN 55014

No interference with your Wi-Fi, TV or anything else in the home.

RoHS

Free of restricted hazardous substances — safe for bedrooms, kids and pets.

Certificates available on request — and shipped with every order.

Good practice

Use it wisely

Don't cover densely

Towels on a warmer — yes. Mattresses and solid furniture legs on a rug — no. Let the warmth breathe.

Normal sockets only

Every Quentex plugs into a standard earthed socket. No adapters, no daisy-chained extension cords.

Feel free to leave it on

PTC self-regulation and the 40 °C working surface make all-day use the intended scenario.
